A post election message that we all should read...

This is the message that I think all schools should be sending right now.  It is so important to keep community tight during times like these.  It's important to help students highlight the potential progress that can be made...not the rock bottom and dark doom that is creating such hatred and violence.

Relevance While This is written for brand new teachers (which we all will be), the advice and tips are useful reminders for all teachers to try to implement not only to help them be better teachers, which obviously benefits their students as well.

"It takes courage"

While it is late in the posting game I thought I should still share my findings. This article: It Takes Courage to Make Schools Better, is from Edutopia. It was written by Maurice Elias on April 27th of this year. This article seems to be focused towards educators. This article points out that educators need to be courageous in standing up for the things that they believe need to change in schools. On that note it also points out ethical things that all schools should support when implementing courage in a school.
