Snapshot on SBAC

I know that there are many more stories and perspectives out in the schools, but I have to think this is a heavily biased report. This seems like a snapshot, but by no-means a mosaic. It will be interesting to see after the SBAC
is administered what the new realities will be versus the pre-test anxieties of parents,
students and educators. I feel this interview with seven students is middle income, culturally and academically biased. I love the quote about the test from a usually high SES school Findley Elementary, Rajeshnarayanan chimed in, "Harder, that's what makes it more interesting." Students who are cultrally driven to perform on tests will have better chances for success while those without the cultural of support and expectations may face obstacles.
