Thank you for sharing this with us. As a Latina, I feel very proud when I see others from the Latino community being recognized for their hard work and dedication. It seems like she is a teacher whom really appreciates relationships and does more than enough to create them. I like that she has been teaching for so long and was able to attend some of her past students graduation. Teachers like her are what help encourage students and motivate them to aspire for more.
